From the creators of Quiet Events comes a hilarious show where you get to eavesdrop on a couple’s first date! Not only will you be able to hear what they are saying…but what they are THINKING too!  Boy Meets Girl is an interactive play where you get to tune into to the girl or guy’s inner thoughts using special Quiet Events headphones. With one push of the button, you choose whether to stick with one or swap between the two.

David and Katie both swiped right… so they must be perfect for each other, right? Go on their first date and find out. You’ll get a hilarious glimpse into what are guys and girls really thinking when they first meet.

Come early and enjoy dinner and drinks at the bar.   You’ll also get to listen into what the actors are thinking about before their big date.

HOW IT WORKS
***Bring a credit or debit card for the check-in process*** When you arrive you’ll receive a pair of special wireless headphones. You can adjust the volume and choose between up to the two actors with a flip of a switch. Each headset has a color LED that shows who you are listening to. You’ll be seated at at table, you can order food & drinks to enjoy the show.  At the end of the night, be sure to return your headphones else there will be a $100 charge.

DAVID CARL (David’s Inner Thoughts)Originally from Dallas, TX, David has been working as an actor in New York since 2006.  You may have caught him in the Awesome 80s Prom, Point Break LIVE!, Gary Busey’s One-Man Hamlet, or various productions with Project Y and Slant Theatre. Gary Busey Hamlet received an award for “Overall Excellence in Solo Performance” and an extension at Fringe NYC 2014.  In 2015 David and his team took the show to Florida, Colorado and Edinburgh Fringe.

You might have seen him on Guiding Light, All My Children,or heard his voice on the radio, TV or internet hawking fast foods, banks, and gas.  He also performs improv every week at the PIT with Skycopter, where he recently co-wrote, and performed David and Katie Get Re-Married with Katie Hartman. David has a BFA from the University of Evansville and an MFA from Rutgers.

sasha SASHA EDEN (Katie): Sasha Eden is the recipient of The Harlequin More Than Words Award for being a “real life heroine” and was selected by The UTNE Reader as one of the 25 Visionaries Who Are Changing Your World. An accomplished Actor, Sasha’s work has been featured on stage, in television and film. Past work includes:

 katie KATIE HARTMAN (Katie’s Inner Thoughts): writes and performs as one half of the acclaimed NYC sketch comedy duo Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting (Edinburgh Fringe, NYC Fringe, Austin Sketchfest, Women in Comedy Festival, Charleston Comedy Festival, etc.).  SBJM was recently named “one of the twenty-five funny people that should have their own TV show” by Complex Magazine.  She is co-creator/co-star of the web series “Made To Order” (madetoorderseries.comwhich was recently was listed as one of “6 Brilliant Web Series” by Marie Claire.  Katie can be seen on the popular web series’ “High Maintenance” and with regularity on the Webby-winning YouTube channel “Barely Political.”  Last fall she performed in the seasonal off-off Broadway monologue play The Pumpkin Pie Show: Seasick and is a rotating cast member in the Off-Broadway production ofFlanagan’s Wake,an interactive, half-improvised play,  Katie improvises weekly with PIT House teams Gypsy Danger and Big Black Car

 rainey RAINEY ROWAN (Producing Assistant): Rainey Rowan has coordinated and produced with companies such as Slant Theater, Frames Lounge, Eating Their Words, and Theatrical Culinary Project. She’s excited to be working again with Marlo Hunter and Sasha Eden on this ‘Quiet’ venture. Rainey is an operations manager at the premier dance studio Steps on Broadway, and continues to dance, sing, and act in her rare moments of free time.
 will WILL PETZ (Producer & Innovator): Social Party Expert since 2001, Will has hosted unique events throughout NYC and produced hundreds of themed parties including Quiet Clubbing parties with offices in NY, LA, SF, and Austin.  Quiet Theater is another visionary event that Will is excited to expand on in 2016
